Editing / Project Management / Book Packaging – Komikwerks / Actionopolis, Los Angeles, CA / Boston, MA  Komikwerks, LLC began as ground-breaking online publisher of original creator-owned comics.  Komikwerks, LLC has evolved into a critically acclaimed publisher of adventure books for young readers. Komikwerks, LLC now has two imprints titled Actionopolis and Agent of Danger which publish prose novels as well as graphic novels.  Over 40 titles are available in print or multiple eBook formats.

  • Edited and formatted over 40 titles; critically acclaimed children’s books and graphic novels from start to finish for multiple publishers.  Designed creative e-book and print packaging and advertising layout using professional publishing software.
  • Responsible for creating and implementing entire trade dress and interior layout and design for all Komikwerks/Actionopolis titles.
  • Komikwerks sold the original Actionopolis YA book THE ANUBIS TAPESTRY to 20th CENTURY FOX.  It will be released as an animated feature in 2016.
  • Komikwerks sold their children’s graphic novel WORLD OF QUEST to Kids’ WB as an animated series.  It ran for two seasons and was nominated for a Gemini Award.
